The development of GPS jammer

A few months ago, the Federal Communications Commission took its first enforcement action against a driver by fining a New Jersey man for using a GPS jammer in his company truck. This man was trying to use a GPS signal jammer as a way to prevent his boss from tracking his locations through a GPS tracking device installed in the truck. Due to his GPS blocker, it seriously interfered with the precision navigation system of the Newark airport. Nowadays, as planes and airports rely more and more on GPS signals, it will maintain at least half of its radar network as a backup system against things like GPS interference from jammers. For pilots, the loss of a GPS signal will affect the normal operation of the flight, often using a more traditional and different technology with less precision than that offered by GPS, which adds risk.
When it comes to GPS tracking devices, we are not new to them. They were invented in 1960s by the US army. Now, they have board applications in every aspect of our daily life, which help us a lot in positioning. It plays an important role in vehicle autonomous navigation. It can be a reliable guide for individual travelers and outdoor explorers. It can ensure the vehicle tracking and intelligent transport management. It is also used in ships and planes as navigators. Those GPS devices are most commonly applied in cars, which play a key role in automobile navigation as well as finding the lost pets and cars. Nowadays, GPS plays an important role in vehicle autonomous navigation. Since people are used to install GPS tracking devices in cars, we’ve heard that more and more companies are tracking their vehicles via GPS to make sure the drivers aren't slacking off. Then, private car owners began to install GPS signal jammer for the security purpose.
There are many types of GPS jammers. Among them, the most popular type is the cigarette lighter GPS signal blocker, which are mini jammers connected to the ignition system of vehicle. Besides, full band GPS blocker, car GPS signal jammer, portable GPS signal blocker, remote control GPS jammer, waterproof GPS signal jamming device are also occupying certain market shares. In all, single-function GPS jammer only stops the GPS devices from tracking the vehicles. Compared with single-function GPS jammers, the multi-functional ones enjoy stronger capabilities. They can block the signals of GPS, Wi-Fi, cell phones even the audio devices at the same time. Whether a portable easy-operate GPS signal blocker or a large volume multi-functional GPS jammer, it’s up to you. It is always determined by your requirements. You should be told that if you are a general user, a portable GPS signal jamming device is your preferred choice.
